I had a Capital One credit card and used it as a credit builder for about a year or so. XXXX dollars would come out of my account once a month from them to help build my credit. I never had issues with not paying or anything until XXXX month, the payment went through but then they immediately refunded it. I didnt know they did that and I also didnt know they completely locked my account without warning at the same time. They then tried charging me for what I owed as well as a late fee and have been racking onto that charge ever since every month. I feel it is unfair for them to overcharge me for something that is their mistake. They were not supposed to refund me so this is completely their fault. My ultimate goal is to get rid of the late fees and interest and pay what was owed originally that they refunded me for. So basically, they refunded what normally got automatically taken out of my account and then charged me a late fee a month later acting like I purposely never paid. Its just been snowballing from there. I have contacted them XXXX different times and they all tell me theres nothing I can do and that I just have to pay it. I even talked to a supervisor. I have about XXXX dollars worth of interest and late fees because of this. This is absolutely WRECKED my credit score because of this borderline fraudulent company. Im tired of this.
