I am disputing a collection account that LVNV Funding LLC is furnishing on my credit reports. The account appears on my credit file as : Creditor : LVNV Funding LLC Account number : ending in XXXX Date assigned : XX/XX/year> Reported balance : XXXX dollars I do not recognize this account and I do not have a valid contract or account with LVNV Funding LLC for this alleged debt. I have already disputed this information with the credit bureaus and requested that LVNV Funding LLC provide proper validation of the debt in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. LVNV Funding LLC has failed to provide complete validation that proves I am legally responsible for this account. They have not provided a signed contract, a full payment history from the original creditor, or any other competent evidence that this debt is mine. Despite this, they continue to report the account on my credit file and it is damaging my credit standing. I am requesting that the CFPB investigate LVNV Funding LLC for : Attempting to collect a debt that is not owed by me. Continuing to report an unvalidated and disputed account. Failing to conduct a reasonable investigation and provide proper documentation after my disputes. I am asking that this collection account be deleted from all of my credit reports and that LVNV Funding LLC cease any collection activity unless and until they can provide full validation that the debt is mine and legally collectible.
