I contacted Sallie Mae in regards to having my student loan discharged/forgiven due to the fact that The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX was closed back in XXXX and also sued for misconduct. Sallie Mae then connected me to their quality assurance department where I was assigned a XXXX XXXX who sent me the form to apply for Discharge of student loan for closed schools. I submitted that form along with all the supporting documents requested by Sallie Mae on XX/XX/XXXX. They contacted me once again to submit further information which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. Since then I have contacted Sallie Mae almost everyday with no communication from their quality assurance department thats handling the form I filled out for discharge of my loans with them. The customer service has all the notes of my calls, supervisors and managers from the customer service department and their escalation department have tried to contact the Quality Assurance Department to have them reach out to me in regards to my application to have the loan discharged and nothing has come of it. It has been over four months with no outcome. Its clear the company Sallie Mae offers discharge to their customers that are facing the situation I am facing with my school being closed yet they do not want to communicate to give me further information about what is going on in my case.
