I disputed a Bank XXXX XXXX account ( ending in XXXX ) with Experian on XX/XX/year>. The account is reported as a charge-off with a {$2000.00} balance and {$2000.00} past due. Experian marked the investigation as verified and left the tradeline unchanged. This verification is inaccurate and violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act because XXXX XXXX XXXX no longer owns, services, or verifies this account. The account has been assigned to a third-party collection agency, most recently XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX confirmed in recent written communication. Because the account has been transferred for collection, Bank XXXX XXXX can not verify a current balance, can not verify a past-due amount, and can not provide accurate reinvestigation data. Experian conducted an unreasonable investigation by contacting the wrong furnisher.
