Applied for a VA loan XX/XX/year>. Was assisted by both XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX who were great in helping with gathering information and uploading to the webportal. I was PreApproved they indicated... great! However, the loan structure was not solid yet, but I indicated that we were purchasing the home we were currently renting- the property address was added at application. The lender had our names, income, socials and birth dates, subject property address, estimated value of the subject property and mortage loan amount sought. Although final details were not firmed up, and the rate was not locked, I was not too happy with the XXXX XXXX that ended up with our preapproval ; however, we still had a completed loan application. I started to shop around and realized that I had never received any kind of documentation from XXXX XXXX and the loan XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX and inquired- asked why we don't have an LE and if we could get XXXX to see what fees they charge and details. He said he didn't have to provide that because our rate was not locked? He was just rude and unhelpful, so I indicated that I was going to shop around. I never indicated that I wanted to withdraw my application. However, when I logged in to XXXX portal, my loan was gone. My preapproval was - gone. I called to inquire because I never withdrew my application. I XXXX not have been happy with them, but I did not withdraw my loan application and simply wanted a loan estimate. Today ( XXXX ) I was transferred to a " client loan advocate '' and he indicated that I should brush up on my laws because they didn't have the XXXX triggers for an XXXX. But they did - I was not going to argue and can clearly see that XXXX XXXX does not want to work with me or my veteran husband. And now I am here because they are not good- they are not honest. They are out of compliance and Tray, the client advocate, was only a protector for the lender, nowhere did he advocate or help me at all. They should lose their license and be penalized.
