My son was enrolled in a program called XXXX. Since he was a minor, I took out a loan under my name in XX/XX/2025 with Climb Credit. In XXXX XXXX we were notified by email that the school closed and we were required to contact the lender to discuss the loan. I contacted the lender and they said they could not do anything and we were still responsible for paying for a loan even without services provided by the school, if the school did not repay the loan. I arranged a reduction in payment until we could resolve this issue of {$50.00} per month and the lender continued to charge the full cost of the loan which was {$260.00}. The current loan balance is {$10000.00}. I just want them to dispose of this loan ASAP since the school is no longer in business. Apparently this is a wide spread scam that has affected many people and we can not afford to absorb this kind of debt. Please help us.
