Subject : Request for Mortgage Assistance and Review of Submitted Documentation Dear Loss Mitigation Department, I am writing to formally express my concern and request your assistance regarding my mortgage account. My financial hardship began during the XXXX pandemic, when I became ill and unfortunately lost my job. This period caused a major financial setback, and despite my best efforts, I fell behind on my mortgage payments. After regaining employment, I immediately began working to catch up on my payments. However, I have recently gathered, completed, and submitted all necessary documentation as requested. Despite my submission, I was informed that my mortgage account is still being processed for foreclosure. I am writing to respectfully request that you review all the documents I have submitted and reconsider this action. It is my sincere intention to retain my home and maintain good standing with your company. Specifically, I am asking that you reinstate my mortgage, defer or move the delinquent amount to the back of my loan, and allow me to resume paying the regular monthly amount I was paying prior to my hardship. Doing so would enable me to remain current and continue making timely payments going forward. I appreciate your understanding and consideration of my circumstances.
