In XX/XX/year>, I disputed an alleged apartment debt being collected by Professional Debt Mediation , Inc. for XXXX Point Apartments. On XX/XX/year>, I sent a written validation request asking for my signed lease agreement, the move-out inspection with my signature, an itemized ledger with receipts or invoices, security-deposit accounting, and proof of collection authority. The company did not provide any of these documents. Instead, they sent only a one-page internal ledger that does not verify the debt. On XX/XX/year>, I sent a second written notice requesting complete validation or, if they could not provide it, that they cease collection activity and request deletion or suppression of the tradeline. I also asked that they mark the account as disputed by consumer. They did not respond to this notice and have continued to allow the account to appear on my credit reports without proper validation. The company has continued collection efforts and credit reporting without providing the documentation required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am requesting that the company either fully validate the debt with proper documentation or cease collection and delete or suppress the tradeline.
