Consumer Narrative
1. There were a transfer between linked accounts ( XXXX and Etrade-Morgan Stanley ) that should not have happened. 2. As I asked how this happened, the following happened to my account at etrade : -They merged two user IDs with out my authorization. One ID for Roth IRA and another for checking, brokerage and saving. - Then, they created a Joint brokerage account ( i called and closed it ) -Then, I was not able to see Bank Activity for two weeks or so. -On Thursday XX/XX/year>, they finally fixed the issue so I am able to see the bank activity. -BUT, now I am unable to use Bill Pay from my checking account. I am on the phone as I write this and another 40 minutes. I have spend good 25-30 hours on this ordeal.
