Consumer Narrative

Probably second week of XX/XX/year> received notice from credit wise that a hard hit on my credit was done. After reviewing the credit report notice that Discover was the company that did the inquiry. I explained that I had not tried to obtain any loans or credit increase. They response that no activity was shown. Then I received a letter stating the email was changed on my account and if it was me, I need to contact them, so I did. Discovering then that Discover card also has a banking side so that why the card side could not see it. So, after speaking with the banking side I was told I would receive a affidavit in the mail to sign so they could start and investigation. Which to date have not gotten. I was told since the loan was XXXX, I would need to file a police report which I have done. I also have submitted letters to the XXXX bureau stating that the loan was fraud. I feel that Discover issue me a card credit and used my personal information for the banking side which the exposed me to credit fraud.
