I am filing this complaint because [ XXXX ] reported that a disputed repossession account from Credit Acceptance was verified, although the information is inaccurate and the furnisher has not provided any documentation supporting the repossession or the balance claimed. I disputed this account under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) because : -The repossession status is incorrect, -The balance/deficiency amount is inaccurate or not supported, -Proper notices were not sent to me as required by law, -Or the account reporting does not match the actual timeline or contract terms. The credit bureau verified the account but did not provide : -Proof of the repossession, -The original contract, -Notices of intent to repossess or sell the vehicle, -Sale information, or -A legitimate itemized deficiency balance.
