Excessive retroactive interest and refusal to adjust charges! I have an XXXX XXXX balance of approximately {$8000.00} under a promotional period. I was not clearly informed that missing the payoff deadline would result in retroactive interest being added from the date of purchase, causing my balance to increase to more than {$11000.00}! When I contacted XXXX XXXX, they refused to provide relief, denied a goodwill adjustment, and would not negotiate despite the increase being disproportionate and inconsistent with fair lending practices. Retroactive interest that inflates an {$8000.00} balance to over {$11000.00} is not reasonable or clearly disclosed!
