Westlake portfolio management XXXX XXXX started sending me emails on XX/XX/XXXX that said I had just had a call with them and to setup my account online. XXXX is the account number they sent associated with it. Assuming it was a phishing scam I ignored it. Then yesterday I got an email saying I owe XXXX dollars and my first payment of XXXX is due in the next few days. I called the company to clear up that I have no loan with them, but to look into it, they want a bunch of my personal info which Im unwilling to give them. XXXX of their numbers wont even get you to speaking with a human until I give it the end of my ssn or phone number. They say they cant tell me anything about the loan I have with them until I verify my account info, and to file a complaint, I would have to set up my online account. Somehow I apparently have a loan without having set up an account. Im still fairly confident this is some kind of scam, but unsure how to confirm that or resolve it without giving them any information.
