Midland Credit Management has continued to bill me, collect on me, and report information to the credit bureaus even though they do not have a valid judgment and have not provided any of the documents I have repeatedly requested. On XX/XX/year>, a Midland representative told me that the lawsuit against me would stop if I made a payment. I relied on this statement and made payments, but Midland continued with the lawsuit anyway. They never sent anything in writing to confirm what they promised. I repeatedly asked Midland for proof of the debt, proof that they own the debt, a written agreement reflecting what their representative told me, and copies of the records they are using to collect and report this account. I also sent correspondence to both Midlands customer service and the attorney listed on the case. Neither responded to me. My emails and filings were ignored.
