I am disputing an inaccurate XXXX XXXX collection account that is being reported by TransUnion. I submitted disputes directly to the credit bureaus and filed a complaint with the CFPB. The CFPB forwarded my complaint to XXXX XXXX, and the furnisher informed the CFPB that it can not respond to the complaint. This means the furnisher refused to provide ANY documentation to verify the debt. Because the furnisher refused to respond to a federal regulator, the information being reported on my credit file is unverified.
