Consumer Narrative
I am filing this NEW complaint due to verifiable False Statements made by Americor to the CFPB in Case XXXX and specific acts of Retaliation that occurred AFTER my initial filing. XXXX. FALSE STATEMENTS TO A FEDERAL REGULATOR : In their official response to my previous complaint, Americor stated : " It should be noted that a final TD Bank payment was made and cleared on XX/XX/year> ''. This is a lie. I have attached my official transaction ledger ( EXHIBIT A ). It proves the payment bounced due to " Insufficient Funds '' on XX/XX/year>, and NO payment was made or cleared on XX/XX/year>. XXXX fabricated this financial event to hide their negligence from the CFPB. XXXX. POST-CANCELLATION RETALIATION ( POA LOCKOUT ) : I canceled my contract on XX/XX/year> ( Proof : EXHIBIT B ). Under the law, an agent 's authority ends upon termination. However, Americor deliberately failed to revoke their Power of Attorney ( POA ) until XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX unauthorized delay. Attached is the text conversation transcripts from XXXX XXXX. CONSUMER HARM ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Lockout ) : This delay was not administrative ; it caused active harm. On XX/XX/XXXX, 20247 days after cancellationI attempted to settle a stipulated judgment with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to prevent default. I was refused service because Americor still held the active POA ( EXHIBIT C ). On XX/XX/year>, I was again blocked because Americor had failed to send the non-representation letter to the specific email address provided by the creditor. This obstruction forced me to make " XXXX payments '' to avoid a court judgment. Official audio recordings of these calls were legally secured and are available upon request. XXXX. ADMISSION OF DECEPTIVE PRACTICES : Americor admitted in their response that they are " not required to obtain or provide 'Settlement Completion Letters ' ''. This admission proves their service is deceptive. Consumers pay settlement fees for the resolution of debt. A debt is not legally resolved without written proof. Collecting fees while refusing to provide the primary deliverable ( proof of release ) constitutes an Unfair and Deceptive XXXX or XXXX ( XXXX ).
