After receiving notice from Equifax that my personal information was compromised in a confirmed data breach, I discovered multiple unauthorized and fraudulent accounts appearing on my credit report. I immediately contacted TransUnion to dispute these accounts and submitted documentation supporting that these debts were not incurred by me. Despite my disputes, Transunion verified the information without providing any supporting documentation from the furnishers.
