I am disputing a {$540.00} collection that I.C. System, Inc. is reporting on my XXXX credit report for XXXX XXXX XXXX ( opened XX/XX/XXXX, balance {$540.00} ). I sent I.C. System a written debt validation request by certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX. Instead of validating this {$540.00} account, they mailed me documents for completely different XXXX accounts with different agreement numbers, different dates, and a much higher balance of {$1200.00}. One of the accounts they used in their validation was previously deleted from my credit report in a prior dispute. None of the documents they sent match the {$540.00} account that appears on my XXXX report. They merged multiple accounts together and failed to provide any documentation proving the specific {$540.00} debt they are reporting. I believe this violates the FDCPA ( failure to validate the debt and misrepresenting the character/amount of the debt ) and the FCRA ( furnishing inaccurate information to XXXX XXXX
