am a confirmed human trafficking survivor, verified by the New York XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ( OTDA # XXXX ). During my trafficking period, multiple negative accounts, charge-offs, and inaccurate items were reported on my credit file. These items were directly connected to coercion, instability, and circumstances outside my control. Although the company eventually corrected or removed the inaccurate information, the damage had already been done. I suffered years of financial harm, including denials for housing, auto loans, higher deposits, higher interest rates, emotional distress, and long-term credit score damage. On XX/XX/year>, I submitted a formal written demand for compensation for the harm caused by their inaccurate reporting, pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I have not received an adequate response to my compensation request. I am filing this complaint because the inaccurate reporting caused significant financial and emotional damages before it was corrected, and the company has not addressed my request for compensation.
