If the payment was received on time but posted late internally, the furnisher is prohibited from reporting it as a delinquency. Their reporting contradicts this requirement. Because the furnisher can not produce the legally required documentation, the late payment is unverifiable, inaccurate, and noncompliant with federal law, yet they continue to report it.
