XX/XX/year> fraudulent charge made at XXXX How this happened : I received a text message that stated I had charged XXXX via XXXX XXXX @ the XXXX XXXX and that if it was not me that made that charge to call XXXX. When I called, they said my XXXX account had been hacked and that i needed to move my money out of my bank account. He mirrored my account and had me move my money. I started to get a bad feeling that this was not legit and i ended the call. I then saw the pending out charge of XXXX to XXXX. I immediately notified my bank while the charge was still pending and asked them not to authorize that transaction, telling them what had happened. They connected me to their fraud department & the fraud department told me that I had to allow the transaction to go through and then dispute the charge, so I did. I also closed all my existing accounts and opened new accounts. Huntington Bank then opened an investigation, while they were investigating they credited my account the XXXX dollars. XX/XX/year> they took the money back stating they felt the charge was authorized. I immediately called the bank and explained again what had happened, they stated they would reopen the investigation. Again they stated that the charge was authorized, so again i asked them to reopen the investigation. I then received a letter stating that the account was permanently closed and that i was in the negative XXXX plus an XXXX $ overdraft fee. I have contacted an attorney and they told me to file a complaint with you.
