I was asked to use Chime pay me to send funds to what I believed was a person selling car parts on XX/XX/year> ( XXXX XXXX XXXX- an admin for older model XXXX car group on XXXX ) After sending {$450.00} and receiving a tracking number another party ( XXXX XXXX- the shipping company ) began contacting me requesting more money to be sent in the same manner but to a different Chime bank account. I contacted Chime to advise them that I believed I had been a victim of a scam. I sent all photos of all communications and the bank accounts that were requested over the next week because the scammers were still contacting me requesting funds. On XX/XX/year> after receiving no communication back from Chime I called back in and was instructed to request the funds back from the party then wait at least XXXX hours for a response and call back if I did not get one. I called in XX/XX/year> and was advised that the funds are not recoverable unless the party wants to send them back. Chime has all the proof that the person behind the receiving account is posing as a business online, then once funds are sent the do not provide the promised parts only requests for additional money to other Chime bank accounts.
