Citizens Bank allowed me to join their debt reconciliation program to prevent a credit card account from going into further charge off. I set up a payment plan in the amount of {$120.00} in order to settle for an amount. This agreed payment was supposed to come out my account starting XX/XX/XXXX. Instead of doing so, citizens bank took my payment, agreed to the payment plan and started the charge off process despite their debt reconciliation program I joined. In the midst of this I received a letter in the mail on XX/XX/XXXX saying that there was a specific balance that had to be paid off by the end of XXXX or the account would be considered charged off. Although, XXXX setup a payment plan with Citizens Bank debt reconciliation program with a contract signed citizens bank still decided to send me a letter XX/XX/year> stating the account had to be paid off by the end of XXXX. However, despite the debt reconciliation program I joined and the letter sent by the company citizens bank charged off the account on XX/XX/year> despite a payment plan set up with their debt reconcialition department and sending a letter saying that I had until the end of XXXX to pay off in full. Citizens Bank charged the account off early and has refused to respond to any of concerns.
