On XX/XX/XXXX, I charged XXXX round-trip tickets from XXXX to XXXX on my Amex XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). Travel was postponed due to my wifes XXXX. XXXX tickets were re-issued ( paid separately ) on XX/XX/XXXX. The remaining XXXX were put on hold. In XX/XX/XXXX, after my son turned XXXX years old and travel plans became indefinite, I requested a refund from the airline. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX acknowledged and completed the refund processing. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX issued the refund back to the original card and supplied an Acquirer Reference Number to Amex for reconciliation purposes. Despite this, the refund amount of XXXX XXXX ( comprised of XXXX XXXX + TWD XXXX + TWD XXXX ) is still not credited to my Amex account after raising a dispute with Amex After contacting Amex several times starting XX/XX/XXXX including an escalation to XXXX XXXX himself, the issue was still not resolved. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, Amex suddenly issued a XXXX USD credit under the name of XXXX. This behavior seems to be deceiving and doesn't match the actual amount they should refund.
