AmeriHome Mortgage is reporting XXXX inaccurate late payments on my credit report for a period when I was under an approved forbearance plan with them. Their customer service repeatedly denies I was their customer in XXXX, even though multiple AmeriHome agents have confirmed that I was, and that I was in forbearance. I can not get a response from AmeriHomes email team, and the incorrect reporting is damaging my credit score. Details of the Problem : I was an AmeriHome customer throughout XXXX and XXXX. I was under an approved forbearance plan during that period. My loan was temporarily transferred to XXXX for several months and then returned to AmeriHome around XX/XX/XXXX. Because of that transfer, AmeriHomes email support incorrectly insists that they have only serviced my loan since XX/XX/XXXX, ignoring my earlier XXXX loan number and the period during which the forbearance took place. Despite being under forbearance, AmeriHome has reported XXXX late payments to the credit bureaus for : XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX These late payments are inaccurate and have brought my credit score down to XXXX. I called AmeriHome multiple times. Two different AmeriHome representatives confirmed : I was their customer in XXXX I was under an approved forbearance plan The late payments should not have been reported However, these agents refused or failed to send me written confirmation. Meanwhile, the email support department continues sending automated responses stating they have only serviced my loan since XX/XX/XXXX. They are not reviewing the old loan number or the correct servicing timeline. I have emailed AmeriHome several times, provided the old loan number and new loan number, explained the forbearance dates, and attached screenshots of the reported late payments. I have received no meaningful response for over a month. This is inaccurate credit reporting in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), and AmeriHome is refusing to properly investigate or correct the information. What I Want : I am requesting that the CFPB require AmeriHome to : Review both of my loan numbers ( old and new ) and confirm my forbearance status in XXXX Investigate the XXXX incorrectly reported late payments Correct my credit report with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX Provide written confirmation of the investigation and corrections Ensure that all reporting reflects accurate forbearance status and compliance with FCRA requirements I am attaching screenshots of the late payments and copies of my communication attempts.
