On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from my brother stating that a debt collector was looking for me. He wrote down all the details they had given him, and they notified him that this was a pre-legal notification and that they needed a statement of intent. I have no idea how they would have received my brother 's cell phone number, as I did not give it out. Also, I have no letters from them that I'm aware of. As far as I can tell, I went through my voicemails, and I do not have any voicemails from this company. I'm extremely frustrated that they would reach out to family and give out information like this without me even knowing what they're after. I've even checked my credit report just to see if there was something on there from this organization, which there is not. There's nothing in collections on my credit report from this organization that I can tell. I've checked XXXX, and it did not show anything from this company. I feel like this is harassment.
