Consumer Narrative

XX/XX/year> I called in and gave the dispute details to follow to chime credit builder credit card subject to FDCPA and FCRA credit card laws. I disputed transactions and provided all the details for the disputes and they were not filed. Chime agents every time I file a dispute ask me how much I was supposed to be charged and how they charge me and then they always try to only refund the difference which is illegal. In California an overcharge of XXXX is an infraction of business and professions laws, an over charge of {$1.00} or more is a misdemeanor crime punishable by a {$1000.00} fine and the consumer may collect 10x the difference. In California, overcharging by more than {$1.00} is generally a misdemeanor under Business & Professions Code 12024.2, punishable by fines up to {$1000.00} and/or jail time, especially if willful, with lesser fines for overcharges under {$1.00} ( infraction ). This applies to charging more than advertised/posted prices, with newer laws like SB 478 also targeting hidden fees by requiring advertised prices to be the full price ( excluding tax/shipping ). For professionals, misrepresenting service charges can be a separate misdemeanor under B & P Code 12024.1, leading to fines, jail time, and licensing board discipline. Millennium smoke shop at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX California is also the owner of XXXX the two companies are owned by the same person and he is selling XXXX illegally in XXXX XXXX California here all XXXX sales and deliveries are illegal. These were purchases for cannabis and other items that I was overcharged for and charged the wrong tax code for due to the cannabis sales being illegal in XXXX XXXX so the owner is charging XXXX XXXX county tax codes committing fraud and I am due a full refund of every transaction disputed that I will list. I expect a full refund of the purchases and also the atm fees as these purchases were point of sale purchases sold inside XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ca XXXX and charging grass valley tax codes is illegal. I have been keeping receipts and screenshots of the transactions, the advertising of items for bait and switch advertising a higher thc % than the product sold so I am never getting the item advertised. I reported this to XXXX county division of weights and measures and the county conducted an undercover buy and found what I said to be true they are charging the wrong counties tax code to cover illegal cannabis sales. I reported this to the bureau of XXXX control several times and Ill b filing a police report. Chime or XXXXXXXX XXXX who issue the credit builder card is responsible for willful negligence. I have called in four times since XX/XX/year> telling avants and supervisor XXXX to pull the calls as of the fourth phone call on XX/XX/year> this was still not done which is another violation due to not meeting the time requirements for settlement of the disputed items. I want accountability for the FCRA violations and for not settling disputes in the time frame permitted by law and not making my finds available to me. I am legally entitled to Financial compensation for the violations of the FCRA violations, refund of all the purchases and fees charged by chime and the atm fee charges as there was no atm visited, no cash dispensed or even a cash dispenser, they have a physical atm inside the store in addition to what they are charging as atm withdrawls. These transactions were point of sale purchases inside a retail business at their cash register inside their store not at the atm inside their store, they use a portable XXXX debit card/credit card reader and are calling it an atm withdrawl to avoid money laundering charges as XXXX is still illegally federally and they do this to avoid charges and to be able to defraud customers already committing illegal XXXX sales inside a non XXXX licensed store front with no store front cannabis licensing owns by the owner XXXX something a male who drives a XXXX XXXXXXXX. XXXX has opened 5 additional locations in XXXX county committing illegal drug sales not following California state laws for XXXX purchases. This is a class action eligible issue for all California customers. There is also another dispute filed for a XXXX XXXX purchase filed last year for like {$34.00} or something close to that and the food arrived cold and inedible. Chime denied my dispute that the sales agreement was not met, I disputed again and showed pictures and evidence of the purchase and the food in inedible condition and they denied it a second and third time, I then requested the evidence used to support their denial and when they delivered the evidence there was no evidence. They had a partially filled out intake form not filled out in full or correctly by their agents, they still denied and kept my money after two separate chime agents told me that they would not be asking for the money back and that they would be issuing a forced merchant return twice and they never did this and kept my money. Chime agents set an expectation and did not meet it twice displaying willful negligence. Millennium smoke shop, XXXX, and Chime XXXX XXXX bank are all violating the FCRA, FDCPA, and California Business & Professions Code 12024.2, punishable by fines up to {$1000.00} and/or jail time, especially if willful, with lesser fines for overcharges under {$1.00} ( infraction ). I will be addressing these complaints further with local law enforcement. XXXX county division of weights and measures has documented and reported the tax code violations produced from the under cover buy to the appropriate government regulatory agency and investigation is under way into these matters. I want all my money returned before the end of XX/XX/year> to avoid future efforts to collect the money owed to me for overcharging of XXXX products, fraudulent tax code charges, and bait and switch advertising practices. Thc percentages advertised must be met in the product given or the sale is a bait and switch fraudulent sale/charge and I have screenshots and receipts of purchases that prove everything I say. I also disputed a charge that was an overcharge for an oil change where I was charged {$91.00} and overcharged by about {$30.00}. I filed a complaint with the merchant asking for a refund and was never responded to. I was quoted {$16.00} for an air filter with an extra {$10.00} off, this was an uosell that I didnt even want and only agreed to due to the price I was told I would get but they didnt honor the price expectation they set. Screenshots included. There is also a {$4.00} charge for doordash subscription trial that was canceled on the same day it was tried and I didnt like it so need a refund for the {$4.00} and cancel the subscription service. The same issue occurred with XXXX for {$6.00} a month for a subscription service that I canceled on the day I signed up and I am still being charged for the subscription and need these charges to be reversed. The latest charges occurred on XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This company breaks FCRA laws all the time and are never held accountable. They also give me {$100.00} in credit every month that they do not report to the credit bureaus.
