Issue : Incorrect Information on Credit Report / Furnisher Not Responding Complaint : I am filing this complaint regarding a Wells Fargo credit card account that appears on my Experian credit report : Account Name : XXXX XXXX Account Type : Charge Card Original Balance : {$4500.00} Date Opened : XX/XX/XXXX Status : Charge-off / Never Late Experian On Record Until : XX/XX/XXXX ( scheduled to fall off next month ) This account has already been removed by TransUnion and Equifax, but Experian is XXXX reporting it. There have been no updates since XXXX, and the account is clearly obsolete. I contacted Wells Fargo and requested a goodwill early deletion, especially since the account is due to fall off next month anyway. This request was not addressed, and the item continues to report only on Experian. I believe the inconsistent reporting across bureaus is unfair and is negatively impacting my borrowing ability, especially for business financing. I am not disputing Wells Fargos records. I am simply requesting that Wells Fargo submit an early removal request to Experian to align all three bureaus, given that this tradeline is within weeks of natural expiration. I am asking the CFPB to review this matter and ensure Wells Fargo responds appropriately. Thank you. Requested Resolution : XXXX early deletion or removal of this obsolete tradeline from Experian.
