Complaint to CFPB PayPal Issue Company : PayPal , Inc . Type of Service : Digital Wallet / Online Payment Account Description of the Problem : Hello, I am filing a complaint regarding a serious issue with my new PayPal account. The account was linked to my XXXX account, and XXXX transactions were successfully received : {$83.00} in XXXX transaction and {$1300.00} in another. After that, PayPal requested multiple documents, including personal identification and bank statements, which I submitted correctly. Following the submission, my account was suspended for 180 days. Before the suspension period ended, I received a message from PayPal regarding additional procedures, and subsequently, all funds in my account were deducted without prior notice or any opportunity to appeal within the app. I am unable to access my funds, and there is no option to appeal within the PayPal application. I request CFPB intervention to investigate this unauthorized deduction and to ensure my funds are restored immediately. I have all transaction records and communication screenshots ready and can provide them if requested. Actions Taken : Submitted all requested documents to PayPal.
