On XXXX, XXXX, I attempted to send {$60.00} using the XXXXXXXX XXXX app to a newly added contact. I entered the {$60.00} amount and then went back XXXX step to add a phone number to the contact. After adding the number and returning to the transaction screen, the app automatically changed the amount to {$1000.00} without notifying me. This appears to be the amount from a previous transaction. There was no clear or prominent confirmation screen showing the final amount before the transfer was submitted. Because of this misleading behavior, the transaction was processed for {$1000.00} instead of the intended {$60.00}. I did not manually enter or authorize that amount. I believe this is a user-interface flaw or deceptive design issue, as the app changed the amount without my action and without making it visible.
