I am the buyer and I am working with the power of attorney of the seller to purchase the house of the seller. I contacted LoanCare ( the seller 's loan company ) to apply for a loan assumption to take over the loan of the seller. Loancare requested the power of attorney to be submitted and that I would hear back within a week, I submitted this on XX/XX/year>. One week passed and I did not hear anything. I called back with the seller/POA on the line and they stated that they did not receive anything, and then gave another two email addresses to send it to and then to wait another week to hear back. I did not hear back. I called again and they stated they did not receive anything. This went on week after week for several weeks. The last time they stated that they DID receive it and it would take a week to process and they would 100 % reach out with information about the next steps. It has been two additional weeks and I have not heard back yet.
