To Whom It May Concern I am writing because I am a victim of identity theft. I discovered that unauthorized accounts were opened in my name, my credit report reflects items I did not authorize. I reported the theft to IdentityTheft.gov, filed a police report I contacted the credit reporting bureau Experian TransUnion and Equifax and requested a freeze, fraud alert, block of the fraudulent items. Describe what you asked them to do and what they did or failed to do. The items in question are : list the fraudulent accounts, account numbers if known, dates, amounts. These are not mine and I did not authorize them. I request that the Experian, TransUnion and Equifax correct/remove these items, update my credit report appropriately, and ensure no further new credit can be opened in my name without my authorization. I would like the CFPB to assist in resolving this matter and to review the handling of my case by the credit reporting agency furnisher of information.
