On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX. sent me multiple written responses about a disputed account ending in XXXX. In one letter, XXXX XXXX stated that on XX/XX/XXXX, we correctly reported your accounts current balance as {$5200.00}. In another letter of the same date, XXXX XXXX stated that your account charged off on XX/XX/XXXX. These two positions are contradictory. An account can not be both charged off and have a current balance. The inaccurate, incomplete, and unverifiable reporting continues to appear on my TransUnion credit report. I acknowledge that the account appears under my name ; however, the way XXXX XXXX and TransUnion are reporting it is inaccurate, contradictory, and unverifiable. This violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 607 ( b ), 611 ( a ), and 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Despite my formal dispute and certified demand letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, neither company has provided validation or corrected the error within the statutory time frame. I request that the CFPB require XXXX XXXX and TransUnion to produce verifiable documentationsuch as the original signed agreement and full account historyor delete the tradeline entirely. Supporting evidence, including correspondence, exhibits, and certified mail receipts, is attached in my dossier.
