On XX/XX/year>, when I logged into PayPal, I received a notification that my account was restricted. It prompted me to submit my identity information, which I did truthfully. That same day, I received an email informing me that they were reviewing the materials, and at that time, my account was only partially restricted. Reference number : XXXX. In less than a day, they announced the permanent freezing of my account for some inexplicable reason, and I would be unable to use my account normally or withdraw funds. I was very confused by this situation. I tried contacting the CEO, the media department, and the disputes department. I sent them emails, and from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, I continuously contacted their relevant departments. The answer I received from all of them was : we can not explain this, for some reason, we can not provide you with an opportunity to appeal, and your account will be permanently unusable. After repeated complaints, I finally contacted their department head, XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX. During the phone conversation, she agreed to give me one chance to upload my documents and wait for a manual review, instructing me to simply wait patiently for an email. I waited until XX/XX/XXXX but still hadn't received the email ( five business days ). I contacted customer service again via PayPal. They initially told me my account had been reviewed on XX/XX/XXXX, but the review was unsuccessful. However, when I questioned why I hadn't been asked to upload any emails, they claimed my review application had already failed when submitted by the supervisor, which is clearly unfair.
