I am submitting this formal complaint because multiple furnishers and credit reporting agencies have continued to report inaccurate, unverified, and misleading information on my credit reports in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). These errors have caused damage to my credit profile and have not been properly corrected despite previous disputes. First, there are two wrong addresses being reported under my name : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, TX XXXX and XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, TX XXXX. I have never lived at these addresses, and their inclusion violates the accuracy requirements under FCRA 1681e ( b ). Additionally, several accounts are being reported with late payments, charge-offs, and other inaccuracies. These inquiries were not authorized by me and must be removed immediately. These errors collectively represent serious violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including : Failure to ensure maximum possible accuracy under 1681e ( b ) ; Failure to properly investigate disputes under 1681i ( a ) ; Failure of furnishers to provide proper verification under 1681s-2 ( b ) ; and Ongoing reporting of inaccurate and outdated information that has caused significant harm to my credit reputation and emotional distress. I respectfully request that the CFPB investigate these violations and take immediate corrective action. Specifically, I ask that the wrong addresses be removed, all unverified and inaccurate accounts be deleted or corrected, and all unauthorized inquiries be permanently removed. I also request written confirmation once these corrections are completed.
