I am filing this complaint because XXXX failed to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA, 15 U.S.C. 1681i ) concerning an account reported by LVNV Funding LLC ( Account XXXX. XXXX, Report XXXX. XXXX ). On XXXX XXXX XXXX I disputed this account with XXXX and requested documentation validating the debt. XXXX responded that the account has not been changed and will remain on your credit report, but they did not provide any supporting documentation from LVNV Funding LLC or Resurgent Capital Services. Neither XXXX nor LVNV Funding LLC has provided : A complete chain of assignment showing how LVNV Funding LLC obtained ownership of this account ; The bill of sale from the original creditor containing identifying account information linking the alleged debt to me ; The signed original contract or agreement, account-level statements, charge-off details, or itemized transaction history ; A breakdown of the balance, clearly identifying principal, interest, and any added fees ; Proof of licensing and bonding authorizing LVNV Funding LLC or its agents to collect debts in my state XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Without these documents, the account remains unverified, unvalidated, and incomplete, yet XXXX continues to report it as accurate.
