I am a Cash App user with an old loan from XXXX ( XXXX ). Recently, XXXX began withdrawing ACH payments from my Cash App account without notice, even after I requested Block, Inc. ( Cash App ) to block these withdrawals. Block , Inc. informed me they were unable to stop them. These withdrawals are unauthorized and improper under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act ( EFTA ), 15 U.S.C. 1693 et seq., which requires financial institutions to prevent unauthorized electronic withdrawals and hold consumers harmless for improper charges.
