My old Paid Account with XXXX & XXXX was reported on my personal report. I have an active and good standing account with the Utility provider. The account was used after I relocated and was charged to me without my knowledge, the collection company made no attempt to give me notice, and therefore the account was reported outside the rules of the fair credit act. If they had contacted me in any way I would have given them the reference number and a copy of the paid bill, and the reporting negative or otherwise erroneous information would have never taken place. I demand them to review their records and identify that the debt was not mine and has been updated already with the utility company they are trying to represent. This type of shortcut tach tick ; is an actual violation of my rights and the company must correct the billing error and the negative reporting to my credit agencies.
