On XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX performed a one-time roach clean out service at my residence. I was never told there was any ongoing contract, and I did not sign anything or agree to future charges. I was never given a bill, invoice, or notice of any balance. After more than XXXX weeks, the infestation was still present. I contacted the company by text on XX/XX/year> with photo evidence. The representative told me by text that my service report was rejected, which shows I was never notified of any issue or charge. All communication was over text, so I have proof of everything said. I asked them by text for proof of any debt, a written contract, and an invoice, but they did not provide anything. The representative did NOT tell me how much was owed, she just said I needed to pay and that it would go straight to collections if I didnt. She was rude and dismissive. XXXX XXXX never sent me any actual bill or gave me a chance to resolve or dispute anything. Then NPG Associates contacted me claiming I owed {$250.00}. The collector threatened to put it on my credit report and garnish my wages if I did not pay immediately. I dispute this debt because there was no contract, the service failed, I was never told any amount was owed, and I was never properly billed or notified before being sent to collections.
