On XX/XX/year> my Capital One Visa was charged XXXX at XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX ( XXXX, XXXX ). This is not an unauthorized charge or a keying error ; it is a consumer dispute for misrepresentation/not-as-agreed ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ; alt. XXXX ). I asked for a small amount of saffron ( plus a small perfume ). The merchant did not disclose the total or clear pricing before I signed, withheld the goods until after signature, and refused to refund when I objected immediately. The paperwork is inconsistent : the store provided XXXX stubs marked XXXX totaling XXXX + XXXX, while a separate Yap XXXX XXXX terminal slip shows a XXXX credit sale for XXXX ( AUTH XXXX ). I offered to return all items upon finding out that I was allowed to pursue a refund ; the merchant has failed to respond. Capital One declined to pursue the consumer-dispute, citing my signature of the merchant slip and lack of an itemized receipt ( the merchant gave me in innacurate receipt with the exact amount of the charge further emphasizing that it was a scam ).
