I am submitting this complaint because my credit reports from Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax contain multiple inaccurate, unverifiable, and outdated negative entries in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. These reports include false charge-offs, collection accounts, and federal student loan entries that are either inaccurate, not properly validated, or should have been removed. Specifically, accounts from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX are being reported as charged-off or delinquent even though they were closed, resolved, or lack verified documentation from the original creditor. Additionally, my federal student loans ( Department of Education / XXXX ) are still being reported even though I am a 100 % service-connected XXXX veteran. Under the Higher Education Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1087 ( a ) ) and 34 C.F.R. 685.213 ( b ), I am legally entitled to a Total and Permanent Disability ( TPD ) discharge, which cancels all federal student loan obligations. These loans should have been fully removed from my credit file and not reported in any capacity. The credit bureaus are reporting these items inaccurately and have failed to ensure maximum possible accuracy as required by FCRA 607 ( b ). Continued publication of these errors after formal dispute constitutes willful noncompliance under FCRA 616617. I am requesting a full reinvestigation and permanent deletion of all inaccurate and unverifiable accounts, along with updated, corrected credit reports sent to me in writing. I have attached copies of my dispute letter, credit reports, and VA XXXX verification for review.
