On XX/XX/XXXX I send money to my mother for the purchase on an item, a T shirt that has graphics on it that reads XXXX XXXX, through cash app. Cash app flagged the purchase because the description has the word XXXX in the name. They contacted me on the XXXX if XXXX asking to explain the nature of the purchase or they would suspend my account after 5 days! They suspended my account 2 days later and even thought I have them the nature of the purchase they have not released my account and its been over 12 days Ive missed bills and Ive had no access to my funds. They reached back out on the XXXX of XXXX asking for the meaning of XXXX as though I hadnt already explained that was the graphic on the item and have yet to release my account. This is the account I receive any business payment for my lively hood and has been damaging to my lifestyle. After 76 days they requested I assert that I had violated their policy and I would have to state that I wouldnt do so again if I wished to continue using their platform. I requested proof of the violation or adherence to my demand for compensation and they canceled my account with no explanation or proof of the violation that would justify withholding my funds and damaging me as their client. They did not submit any information including to the cfpb that would justify their theft and holding off my personal property in my time of need.
