On XX/XX/XXXX someone was able to gain access to my computer thru a remote access app and set up bill pay with our Wells Fargo account and paid themselves XXXX dollars without my consent or knowledge. We went to the bank the next day and closed that account and filed a complaint. We waited for them to investigate and they refused our claim. We also had a IT person come over to clean up our computer and that's when we found out about the remote access app installed on our computer. we relayed this info to the bank. The bank sent out a letter once again refusing to honor our complaint and also we had made the transaction ourselves or gave permission for someone else to make the transaction.
