I am submitting this complaint because Early Warning Services has not complied with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) requirements. I submitted an identity theft block/dispute to Early Warning with proper documentation, including my FTC Identity Theft Report, police report, government ID, and proof of address. Early Warning deleted all other accounts from my file but refused to remove XXXX XXXX XXXX accounts that are also the result of identity theft. Under 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2 ( FCRA Section 605B ), a consumer reporting agency is required to block all information that a consumer identifies as the result of identity theft within 4 business days of receiving the proper documentation. Early Warning has acknowledged my identity theft by deleting other accounts, yet they are inconsistently applying the law by leaving the XXXX XXXX accounts, which continue to damage my financial standing. This selective deletion demonstrates non-compliance with federal law, creates unfair reporting, and prevents me from restoring my credit and banking access.
