Consumer Narrative

received a form letter stating they were " unable to validate or process application '', no more explanation was given. I am a Bank client/customer for over 25 years so this reason is invalid. I wrote to a XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) - who signed the letter - twice, to no reply. my FICOXXXX score is in the Very Good range. I suspect the problem is age bias being shown by the Bank as I am retired and own my home ( no mortgage or loans against it ) as an algorithm is used to process applications.
