I was looking to transfer a credit card balance to a XXXX % interest card. American Express was advertising a XXXX % interest credit card for XXXX months with a " no ding decline '' via the XXXX app. I applied and was approved to transfer {$7500.00}. At this point there is an option to withdraw the application but I was fine with the {$7500.00} so I accepted. After accepting, you're prompted to start the balance transfer. I tried and tried only to find out I was only approved for a {$1000.00} credit limit. I would have never accepted knowing the limit was that low.
