I opened a checking account with Chime Bank, during a promotion period. I had just set up direct deposit and made a deposit through XXXX through Chimes app with a barcode. It stated on the app it was free, was told last minute I had a {$4.00} charge. Also was told my direct deposit was too low and I could not eligible for the bonus even though in one week from today the direct deposit would have been over {$500.00}. Was told no one could help me and that I could not get any refunds on fees to spite the fact that there wasn't supposed to be a fee and no extention for the bonus. I feel I was completely scammed by this Bank and honestly I don't even believe it can be called a bank since they have no branch offices and you have to try to locate affiliate atms, XXXX or XXXX to conduct any kind of deposits or withdraws. It's just feels like a online scam to get you to fund an account that charges you to deposit and withdraw funds. Also, they charge a fortune to transfer money through their app.
