To Whom it May Concern : I am writing to formally request immediate intervention regarding my federal student loans. I have fulfilled all requirements for the 10-year Public Service Loan Forgiveness ( PSLF ) / Income- Driven repayment forgiveness program. The Forbearance is not allowing me to pay on the remaining 5 payments or utilize the XXXX XXXX process and yet it is still accruing interest. I have sent several emails to stop the forbearance and applied for the XXXX process, but the account continues to accrue interest on a debt that has satisfied the requirements. This situation is causing financial harm, and it is a violation of federal rules governing student loan forgiveness programs. Specifically : My loan meets the criteria for federal forgiveness. Interest should not be accruing on a forgiven account. Placement into forbearance without consent is improper and illegal under federal regulations. I am entitled for the buyback option for the days placed in forbearance to restore my qualifying payment count. I am requesting the following actions : 1. Immediate removal of the unauthorized forbearance from my account. 2. Application or update of eligible buy back days to restore my qualifying payments 3. Confirmation that the loan has been fully forgiven in accordance with program requirements once the buyback is applied. XXXX. Cease any further accrual of interest. Ensure that the updated loan status is accurately reported to all national credit reporting agencies. Written confirmation of the above actions. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. I look forward to your written response confirming the steps taken to correct my loan status.
