I am submitting this complaint seeking investigation into Truist as they have stolen {$6800.00} from me by setting up an account and claiming it flagged an alleged fraud investigation. On XX/XX/2025, I went into the XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA Truist location and deposited multiple checks consisting of XXXX XXXX my employer, and state-issued child support checks. On XX/XX/XXXX, a letter was issued claiming my account was under investgation. I have been to bank several times and on the phone for hours unsuccessfully attempting to resolve this issue. I was told by XXXX that his former team mate at Truist, XXXX XXXX, incorrectly entered a number off my drivers license and incorrect amount had been entered on checks. He was told by fraud division for me to return to the bank in 10 business days and when I did, I learned XXXX XXXX had been fired after he himself spoke with the fraud division demanding to know what was the issue with my account. I was even sent to other branch locations with Truist at XXXX XXXX claiming there was no manager available at the XXXX XXXX location. Fraud division also told XXXX XXXX before he was fired for me to return after 5 business days and when I did was given the run- around. Here it is late XXXX and I have not heard from Truist and the bank still has all of my money with no report or plan to return it to me.
