In my previous complaint ( XXXX ) I gave this same information. I tried to open a bank account. They told me they were not able to open the account because they were not able to verify my identity. I asked what was lacking in order for them to verify my identity and they refused to answer. The first call I made I was told I would receive a letter explaining the matter and outlining my next steps. I did not receive such a letter. I called again. Spoke to somebody who was told I would get a letter and again did not receive a letter. Finally, after complaining to this bureau, I did receive a letter, which was literally worthless. In the company response to my original complaint, they stated that again they were unable to verify aspects of my identity. But they would not say what those aspects were. The information I provided to them was exactly the same information that I have used my entire life. My full name, I have never had an alias never changed my name. My mailing address, which has been my mailing address for the last 10 years. My Social Security number which again remains unchanged. They did not ask me for any further information. They did not tell me what the problem was with being able to identify my identity. They simply claimed in their response letter that I would need to reapply and give them accurate information about my identity. It is literally impossible to provide any more accurate information to them than I already have. My credit is extremely good, my credit history is extremely good. I cant fathom what their actual reason for not opening an account might be, but if the reason is that they were unable to verify my identity, then I think they should prove in some fashion that they were unable to verify it. Or contact me directly for further clarification.
